NWDE October meeting. Saturday10-3-26.

A successful meeting with 13 members and 9 roadsters driven. 

Weather was nice.

Minutes.

We gave tribute to long time club member and Datsun owner, Steve Carter, who passed on Wednesday, 9-30-26. Steve was a 30+ year Datsun 65 1500 and 62 320 truck

owner who liked his Datsuns stock. He was always generous with his time and parts to help club members. He was a good friend and his dry humor and extensive Datsun knowledge will be missed.

The club elected new officers for 2027.

President. David Niess.

Vice President. Ted Heaton.

Treasurer. Justin Bedell.

We authorized the creation of a new club treaurery bank account.

Ted reported that our help with the annual Shedd Roadster BBQ was very sucseful and helped raise sufficient funds to cover the expenses for 2026.

The Club Fall party and BBQ was a great end of season event with about 25 members attending.

We discussed the 3 shows we will attend as a club for 2027.

We agreed to attend Greenwood and Edmonds again. It was decided to not go to the Return to

Renton show. We will look to find a better replacement for the third show. 

Members Stu, Justin, Katie, David N and Dave F gave updates on the progress or lack thereof for their Datsun projects. 

David N showed the amazing results of hundreds of hours of magic chemical to whiten old yellowed washer bottles. 

We had a short drive with 5 roadsters on the Emunclaw loop

after the meeting.
