2026 Return to Renton Car Show

Some of attended the Return To Renton Car Show today.  It was at the high school stadium parking lot this year instead of downtown.  Hope it's back to downtown next year.  

We had six cars total: one 510, one 260Z, and four roadsters.  And, we picked up a truck along the way that had full air ride suspension and dropped to the ground.  There was another 510 but it left early before I could get a pick of it.  

When signing in at the registration table, they gave all participants a jar of Skipper's Tartar Sauce.  Weird.  I guess it's made in Renton (almost as good as making airplanes in Renton).

After we checked in and scored tartar sauce, we walked to Lachlan's house for the annual pre-show breakfast in the courtyard.  We cooked bacon, eggs, potatoes, English muffins, etc.  Then we walked (slowly) back to the show.  Thanks a ton, Lachlan, for hosting.  It's good to socialize with other club members.  

The weather was really great and warm and we flew the NWDE flags.  We had scored some choice parking on the edge with shade in the main heat of the day.

We did receive a lot of attention from visitors.  They had a lot of questions but we do get a lot seemed to be asked a lot more today-- "Are these roadsters Fairladys?"

No awards for us today, except tartar sauce.
