NWDE December meeting. 

12-6-25.

Great winter meeting with 9 members. Rain in the area so no Datsuns were driven. 

Welcome new member Stew Brown from Auburn. Stew has a 66 roadster currently in California. 

New club officers were elected today. Ted finally got to retire and VP David Neiss stepped up to be the new President. Steve continues as Treasure. Andrew considered the VP position but probably next year. Ted will be the Vice President for 2026 when Andrew will be ready for 2027. It is great to see our younger members step up to lead the club . 

Janelle brought cookies and home canned Tuna! for all. 

Katie reported that her 1500 restoration by Ron W is moving along. David N reported that his 1600 rebuild is ongoing but slowed due to his vapor honing and plating work. He had a car trunk show and tell after the meeting. A rare NOS roadster fuel pump was revealed. Also he wore his new custom DATSUN jacket, befitting a new President. 

Will G has talked with DEF about rebuilding his 5 speed transmission. 

Andrew drove his rare Aprilla racing mc. His roadster body repair is scheduled to begin shortly at Fenders and Fins. 

Next meeting is January 6.
