Is your alt good? You know your regulator is on the alt. Ck this first. Is your grnd OK. Maybe add a grnd wire from block to body. But more likely witha newer car is you have a short. It could be in the alt(diode). What I did is ck pos to grnd(body)not neg batt. 12volts.Maybe yours is different. But I got this with the key off. If 12volt present then disconnect the pos cable. If you have a Current meter on your multi meter. Set on highest setting(not to damage meter) place the blk lead(meter) on the pos of the bat then place the red on the cable that you just took off(the pos batt cable this will complete the circut. Then if your meter does not move, move to the next smalliest setting(meter). I had 60uAmps which run my car dead in about 5 days. This is with the car in the off position. I isolated it down by removing the fuses untill the meter read close to zero uAmps(micro)This will tell you which circut. Mine was in the grnd circut which powers the door buzzer and cig lighter circut. Mine was a SSStach that was finding a grnd thru the windings of the tach.Later install by idiot. Hope this helps Hainz
