A flat top piston might have to much comp. Get the L-18 semi dished if running a A87 head. I believe its 4cc dished. The l-20 is 11.35cc dished. I bought my L-18 pistons fron Carparts.com Sealed Power(sterling Piston) 12159P was the part#. Quality looked OK. Get ARP Bolts for the rod bolts. The head you could spend alot. But for me a basic rebuild is OK. Get a cam And run Webers or Mikunis.
